The SP50
has the following additional features:
* Fully Synthesized Operation - An authorized dealer can add or modify
the radio frequencies and features using an IBM Personal Computer.
* Channel Scan - All channels in the radio can be simultaneously monitored
at the press of the option button.
* Multiple PrivateLine (PL)/Digital Private Line (DPL) - A unique PL or
DPL 'interference eliminator' code can be programmed for each channel
that eliminates hearing unwanted conversations.
* Meets Limited Mil Spec 810 C, D & E Approvals - The SP50 radio has
been designed and tested to meet the U.S. military standards approval
for Shock, Vibration, Rain & Dust, ensuring it's ability to perform
in rigorous work environments.
* Add-On Signalling Capability (RadiusPort) - This feature allows the
user to add new capabilities to already existing radios. A Quik Call IITM
'paging' module that alerts a user to incoming voice selective call messages
or a SmarTrunk II module for adding trunking operation are currently available
for this radio.
